Our inpatient Hospice Care Center provides short-term, round-the-clock hospice care in an intimate, warm and supportive environment:
For hospice patients who are too sick to go home from the hospital.
For hospice patients who need medical care that cannot be provided at home.
For hospice patients whose loved ones need a short respite from caregiving at home.
Although the Hospice Care Center is located on the fourth floor of Wuesthoff Medical Center - Rockledge, it is staffed and run entirely by hospice employees. The Hospice Care Center includes patient rooms decorated with home-like furnishings, a dining room for patients and guests, a children's playroom, a TV room and a library. Family members are welcome to visit 24 hours a day and patients may even receive visits from beloved pets.
