The Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center provides short-term, round-the-clock hospice care in an intimate, warm and supportive environment. Patients are admitted to the Care Center when:

• They are too sick to go home from the hospital
• The medical care needed cannot be provided at home
• Their loved ones need a short respite from care-giving at home

The Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center is located on the fourth floor of Wuesthoff Medical Center - Rockledge, and is staffed and operated entirely by hospice employees and volunteers. The Hospice Care Center patient rooms are decorated with home-like furnishings. A dining room for patients and guests, a children's playroom, a TV room and a library are also available. Family members are welcome to visit 24 hours a day and patients may even receive visits from beloved pets.
