Wuesthoff Hospice & Palliative Care, Brevard County's first licensed hospice, has been providing compassionate care to our community since 1984. The care and service we provide to those with life-limiting illnesses is known for its excellence on the local, state and national level. Wuesthoff Hospice & Palliative Care is part of the Wuesthoff Health System, and as such, we provide our patients and families with the continuity of care of a full service healthcare team.

What is Hospice and Palliative Care?

Hospice and palliative care is compassionate care for people facing a life-limiting illness or injury. The care involves a team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient's needs and wishes, as well as support for the patient's loved ones. The goal of palliative care is to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients and their families. At the center of hospice and palliative care is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain free with dignity, and that our families will receive the necessary support to allow us to do so.
